*There's the sound of wind through the trees and then there's the sound of wind whispering through the pines. You know the difference don't you?*

This mixed media art class elevates the ordinary glimpses of evergreens and natural objects to a place of honor and beauty.

You will learn how to collage with papers, add meaningful text, bring in stones and weathered wood, add plaster and gesso and a touch of paint wash, paint plaster castings of evergreen boughs and cones to create a lovely shadow box piece for celebrating Christmas. You can also choose words and papers appropriate for all year display in your home.

All art supplies and instruction will be provided by mixed media artist Jodene Shaw.
