Before diving in to making handprints,

we will start by practicing with

fingerprints.

It is a lot easier to work with small pieces of clay

when you are learning to roll it out, flatten, and get a good impression.

Practicing with paint is also much simpler on small fingerprints.

Plus . . . they are so cute!
